Frequesntly Asked Questions
Q |
Can air conditioning make you ill? |
|
| A |
Air conditioning can only make you ill if the unit itself is ill maintained. Fujitsu have used technology to improve the self maintenance of the units we provide and so maintenance is minimal on the majority of our units. Maintenance requirements will be supplied with the unit.
It has also been noted that Air conditioning in very hot conditions can prevent people suffering with heat related illnesses. Electric fans may provide temporary comfort but if temperatures are high they will not prevent illness.

Q |
What are the benefits of an inverter product? |
|
| A |
The inverter technology used in our range adapts the speed of the compressor to the needs of each moment. This means that only the energy needed is consumed. Our inverter products are installed with an electronic power device that is sensitive to temperatures, this means that when the required temperature is about to be reached the motor slows as power is reduced which prevents surges and temperature fluctuations.
Not only does this save on energy by up to 50%, it also reduces noise and lengthens the life of the unit because it avoids continuous switching on and off to maintain the temperature. It also reaches the required temperature quicker and costs less to run.
